In time for the start of the 2022–23 NFL regular season, Hartford's XL Center will debut its sportsbook powered by the Connecticut Lottery Corp. next month. The retail sports betting shop for the Connecticut Lottery will open in Hartford on September 18, according to officials with the lottery. Doors to the XL Center sportsbook will open at 5:30. Two NFL Monday Night Football games take place on September 18.
