Identity Membership and Rewards, the resort's program, will change to MGM Rewards on July 30. In September 2019, MGM Resorts International paid $1.6 billion for Blackstone's operating rights, which is when this change occurred.
It was originally intended, back in February, that Identity Membership and Rewards and MGM Rewards would combine by the same month in 2024. This plan was delayed because of an integration problem brought on by a cyberattack that impacted some of MGM's domestic operations in September of last year.
