Couple arrested outside Vancouver Island casino on charges of identity theft

A man and a woman were apprehended outside a casino on Vancouver Island for presenting authorities with counterfeit identification and leaving a vehicle containing stolen items.

Law enforcement also confiscated numerous stolen checkbooks, identification cards, and personal financial statements belonging to over 24 different victims.

The duo faced charges of identity fraud, obstructing a police officer, and possession of stolen property. Additionally, the man was arrested for being in possession of forged documents.
