Court further limits function of former employee in DraftKinga injunction

The latest blow in the legal battle between the sportsbook and its former executive was delivered by DraftKings.

The temporary injunction that DraftKings requested to restrict the former employee's new role with Fanatics Betting and Gaming was granted by the Massachusetts Federal Court today. Additionally, the court rejected his motion to dismiss the case.

DraftKings filed for another injunction after new information surfaced about the person allegedly stealing trade secrets and approaching DraftKings employees. The same court had previously granted a partial restraining order on the person's involvement with Fanatics in February.
