Crackdown looms as Bitcoin-dependent gamblers

It comes after allegations that the gambling hotline GamCare's counselors noticed an uptick in calls from people who had given up gambling and were signed up for self-exclusion websites but were now investing in cryptocurrencies.
 
One thing I want everybody to understand is that both investing and gambling are speculating exercises. When you speculate, you just predict the likely result of an event, the outcome of which you are not sure. So those that withdraw from gambling and invest in cryptocurrency are inadvertently gambling.
