Cryptocurrency trading may be related to compulsive gambling, anxiety, and depression

from UQ's Ben Johnson, a research student
National Youth Substance Use Center
NCYSUR analyzed the prior research on
trade in cryptocurrencies and its ties to
mental health and gambling.
There were significant similarities between the
trading patterns of cryptocurrencies
problem gamblers who engage in excessive spending
spending extra time checking trades and
borrowing money to recover losses,
Impulsivity and a desire for novelty, says Mr. Johnson.

Forex or crypto trading is also forms of gambling. Both are not differ from betting. They are full of anxiety and premonition. You must predict the likely outcome. If your predictions succeed, then you win.

borrowing money to recover losses in gambling is not adviceable, because the money you borrow cant be guarantee that you will win or not

Either borrowing money or betting with the entire capital is all risky which should not to be taken. You don't bet when you are in dire need of money. If you have to bet, bet with what you can afford to loose.

Gambling is not for less privileged ones who don't have enough to lose, gambling is for those with cash in the bank. If they lose it will be nothing to them

That's it. When you don't have much money, you may have much to lose both your money and even the emotions. That's why it is better to have money before venturing into betting.

Although there is actually more difference between the two , because based on my observation , cryptocurrency is actually more of strategy and others , while gambling is really based more on luck and nothing else
