In Ireland, Cuan Mhuire, a nonprofit organization that offers residential rehabilitation and addiction treatment services, has formally opened a new residential gambling addiction treatment program at their Coolarne facility in Galway.
In order to meet Ireland's increasing demand for specialized gambling addiction treatment, GamblingCare.ie is funding this expansion, which it hopes will be a significant step forward.
The new facility strengthens Cuan Mhuire's partnership with GamblingCare, which started in 2020 when the organization funded specialized residential programs in Athy and Bruree. These programs have already helped hundreds of people and their families.
