Curaçao gambling legislation passes parliamentary approval

By a vote of 13 to 6, the Curaçaoan parliament approved the National Ordinance on Games of Chance which is a significant step in the island's efforts to reform its gambling industry.

The Curaçao Gaming Control Board's PR and Marketing Consultant made the announcement, calling the event "a great day for our industry."

The bill implements significant reforms to update the island's gambling laws, which have been criticized for being antiquated and unduly lax.
