Curacao Gaming Control Board refutes licensing reform corruption allegations

The Gaming Control Board of Curaçao has retaliated against claims that its gambling licensing reform is riddled with cases of money laundering, fraud, and corruption.


A local politician who belongs to the opposition Real Alternative Party made the allegations that the Gaming Control Board is referring to. On November 25, he submitted a report to the attorney general's office alleging that financial losses have resulted from the issuance of gambling licenses without a valid reason.
