Dad wins $1million lottery prize at grocery store

You have to be in it to win it, as the well-known lottery maxim states. And a father from the Midwest almost wasn't.

When he entered the Baker's grocery store in Fremont, Nebraska, to get a salad for lunch, he had the thought that he would spend a little more money on a Mega Millions lottery ticket. After a few days, he received word that he had won a $1 million prize.

In the multi-state Mega Millions game, the odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 12,607,306, so that's a fair point!
