Danish Gambling Authority wins award for youth gambling prevention programme

The Danish Gambling Authority's youth gambling prevention program, "The One-Armed Bandit," has won the International Association of Gaming Regulators' "Best Regulatory Campaign" award.

The ad, which made its debut in December, uses humor and exaggeration to warn teenagers about the dangers of gambling.

The program started after a 2023 study found that 15% of Danish youths between the ages of 15 and 17 had gambled in spite of the country's legal gambling age limits.
