Danish gambling regulator amends error in self-exclusion scheme

The Danish Gambling Authority has addressed a mistake in Denmark's self-exclusion registry that almost 1,200 listed players were impacted by.

Due to an error, certain players who renewed their self-exclusion under the program were still able to access gambling through land-based casinos and slot machines, even though the renewals did not include some of the games that the initiative normally covers.

The gambling authority has made modifications to add all pertinent games under the self-exclusion renewals and has guaranteed that this would not happen again to future registrants after receiving complaints that appeared to affect about 1,200 people.
