Danish regulators team up to crack down on gambling ads

It was decided by the three bodies that action was necessary because illicit advertisements were still targeting local customers and circulating in Danish media. They therefore decided to work together to protect the market from unlicensed operators and advertisements that break Danish law.

The agreement states that in the event that operators disobey its orders or the Gambling Advertising Board discovers regulatory violations, it will refer cases to the Consumer Ombudsman.
