Data centers and a new computer system for the Pennsylvania Lottery

The Pennsylvania Lottery is upgrading its computer system, which may affect players' ability to buy certain tickets and claim winnings.

The transition is expected to last less than a day, starting after midnight on Monday, March 18. During this time, players won't be able to buy certain tickets or cash winning ones.

The Lottery advises players to plan ahead and buy tickets in advance.
