Date for opening of Caesars Virginia casino announced

The official opening date of Caesars Virginia in Danville is set for next month.

A 2,500-seat entertainment venue, 320 guestrooms, 50K square feet of meeting and convention space, a full-service spa, a pool, and a variety of dining options are all features of the resort's hotel.

Caesars has promised to offer competitive pay and benefits to the more than 1,200 workers it is hiring in advance of the resort's opening next month.
