Delaware legislator says state sports betting sector can thrive with competition

Progress is being made in the General Assembly on Delaware legislation that would codify the state Internet Sports Lottery Legislative Working Group's recommendation to allow more than one online sportsbook platform.

After the lottery's previous partner, 888 Holdings, withdrew from the market last year, the Delaware Lottery partnered with Rush Street Interactive, the digital gaming division of Chicago-based Rush Street Gaming.
