What percentage of bankroll is optimal for lay betting on a single event? In my opinion, between 1% to 5% of your overall bankroll seems reasonable depending on your risk tolerance and how much analysis you do of the event. The more analysis and understanding you have, the higher % you could risk without worrying too much. But never risk more than 10% on a single lay bet. What do you think is an ideal % of bankroll to stake on a lay bet that balances good profit potential and risk management?
