Detroit casinos generate lower revenue due to union members strike

When union members went on strike in October, the combined monthly revenue of Detroit's three gaming properties fell by 18.3%.

On October 17, about 3,700 Detroit Casino Council members went on strike. Nearly a month has passed since the work stoppage began.

A new contract has not yet been agreed upon by management and the unions.

People are being asked not to enter casinos by union members. Additionally, they advise players to stay away from online gambling platforms like Fan Duel, ESPN BET, Hollywood iCasino, and BetMGM that are connected to the casinos.
