Gambling addiction can be very difficult to break especially when it has happened for a very long time. One thing I noticed that I have never seen addict recovery in any way.

I don't know maybe they can actually fully recover but partially they can recovery but they might still have someone with them to be following them around to serve as mentor and they should get proper job to be doing to curb thinking about gambling

Exactly...there must be a guidance and even they should even disconnect them from anything that can make them go into betting again. They may take their phone and relocate them to a new place.

Of course, gambling addicts can truly recover once they get in the correct mental space and surround themselves with loving family and friends who could introduce them to new activities which would take their mind off gambling
