There was an argument between my friend and one of the poker dealers. it happens that one of my guys dictated that the poker deluxe was trying to cheat on if the game is playing because it's inside of winning. when the result comes out its favour is my friend and the poker dealer begins to engage in arguments and later said he's not going to pay for the winning.

My friend took the poker chips to replace his winnings. I want to ask that do poker chips have value

The poker chip does not have a real value but it it is only valuable at the table of the poker . outside of the casino, the chips do not have a real value in the real world. It makes it meaningless to take such cheap because it does not have a real value.

In poker, the value of a chip depends on the game or event. Values in cash games are a direct representation of cash. Players in a $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em game who buy in for $300 will receive that amount in chip value. Colours vary by casino but tend to follow similar patterns at least for lower values

It has value in the poker room but if you go outside the casino, it does not have any value because it is just used to exchange your cash so that there will be proper organisation of cash at the poker table.

Poker chips have value. They represent a certain amount of money, which is determined by the casino or the game being played. For example, in a $1/$2 game, each chip may be worth $1 or $2. The value of poker chips is not intrinsic, meaning that they are not worth anything on their own. Their value is derived from the game being played and the agreement between the players. In a casino, poker chips are not redeemable for cash.
