Well now, that all depends on the hand and reads I'm getting, don't it? Sometimes I'll 3-bet light as a feather hopin' for some callers so I can c-bet/fold or bluff 'em outta the pot later. Other times I'm only 3-betting junk if I know for sure I'm only gonna be dealt 3's of a kind or better.
See, as a gambler I know every hand's different. You can't go by no fixed rules in this game, you just read the players and trust yer instincts. The players that call 3-bets too easy are the ones I target, cause they might just call a 4-bet light too if I get the action raised up. Keep 'em guessing and they'll never know if I got air or aces!
When I 3-bet jam pre, it ain't always cause I got the stone nuts. Sometimes it's cause I know they're gonna pay me off to see more cards anyway. Once in a blue moon I might have both, but not often enough to go by! Naw, I 3-bet/4-bet/5-bet bluff when there's still action and pot odds left to induce mistakes. Thinning the herd and building the pot are my favorite reasons to stack the action!
You only get to make those important 1 dollar/2 dollar/5 dollar decisions in poker. When in doubt and the pot seems worth fighting for, that's usually the right time for me to lock in more of their money with another big 3-bet/jam pre. Pots are meant to get tender, and I aim to make 'em ugly!
The cards'll fall where they fall, but as a gambler I'll play 'em however seems most fun and gives me the best shot at walking away a winner. That's the only strategy that ever made sense around this table.
