Gambling can be approached in different ways by different individuals. For some people, it is primarily a form of entertainment and recreation. They view it as an activity to enjoy, similar to going to the movies or playing sports. These individuals may set a budget for gambling, treat it as a leisure activity, and prioritize the enjoyment and social aspects of the experience.

On the other hand, some individuals may view gambling as a way to make money or supplement their income. They may believe they have developed skills or strategies that give them an edge over other players or the house. While it is possible to have some level of skill in certain forms of gambling, it's important to recognize that gambling outcomes are largely based on chance and luck.

Furthermore, for those who view gambling as a way to make money, it can quickly become problematic when they begin to chase their losses or rely on gambling winnings as a primary source of income. This can lead to financial instability, addiction, and negative consequences for their personal and professional lives.

It's important to approach gambling with caution and a clear understanding of the potential risks and consequences. It may be helpful to set limits on how much time and money is spent on gambling and view it strictly as a form of entertainment rather than a way to make money. Seeking support from a trusted friend or professional can also be beneficial in maintaining a healthy relationship with gambling and avoiding problematic behavior.

I have never considered gambling as a source of income at any particular point in time. For me, it is just pure entertainment. That is why I always stake with very little amounts because I am not seeing it as an investment that I should be expecting returns from.
