For the fifth time in six seasons, Leicester City is in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals. They've only been able to advance to the last four once, in the 2019–20 season. City has had an erratic season and is presently 13th in the Premier League. After a bad start to the new season, they were in the relegation zone but eventually recovered their form and started rising up the table. Since the season started with three straight losses, things haven't gone so smoothly for them. However, they have fared far better in cup events. They defeated MK Dons in the Carabao Cup's round of 16 before winning at Gillingham in the FA Cup on Saturday.
