Do you have a strategy in place in the event of a gambling relapse?

Identification of potential gambling triggers, the development of coping mechanisms to deal with those triggers, and the establishment of a support network with loved ones, family members, and mental health specialists are all possible components of a relapse prevention strategy.

To reduce any potential harmful effects of a relapse, it's critical to seek help and take action as soon as possible once it occurs. This can entail contacting a therapist or support group, getting financial advice, or stopping gambling entirely.

It's important for individuals who struggle with gambling addiction to have a relapse prevention strategy in place. As you mentioned, identification of potential triggers and developing coping mechanisms can be helpful in preventing relapse. Additionally, creating a support network that includes both loved ones and mental health professionals can provide the necessary guidance and accountability to stay on track.

It's also crucial to take action immediately if a relapse does occur. Seeking help from a therapist or support group can aid in regaining control, and financial advice can help mitigate any potential harm caused by the relapse. Finally, it's important to consider completely stopping gambling if it is becoming a destructive force in one's life.

Gambling relapse is an indication to show areas where therapy fails in the quest to stop gambling addiction. Medication and counseling do not stop the gambling addiction alone. The disease has gone far beyond imagined. Those relapsed gamblers become tough element to deal with in the society and cannot be convinced of the effectiveness of therapy to their problems.

I don't really have any strategy plan in place of gambling relapse but i think i can rely on my family just in case something like that happen but I'm sure it will never happen because I've always been cautioning myself
