Poker is just for fun and to pass the time on weekends. I got me an honest job to support my family, just like any red-blooded American.
The money I win or lose at the poker table stays at the poker table. My livelihood comes from working hard at the ranch, keeping it productive and making it prosper. Poker chips are meant for betting, not bringing home to put food on the table!
While I may boast about my poker prowess with friends, and maybe stretch the truth a mite, it's always with a wink and a smile. The work I do with my hands day in and day out on the ranch, that's what pays the bills. Poker's for enjoyment only, you see. Our Founding Fathers would approve!
