In the game of baccarat, participants wager on how the dealer's hand and their own hand will turn out. To have a hand that is as near to a nine as possible is the goal of the game. The card values in baccarat are different from those in blackjack. All other cards are worth their face value, except for aces, which are worth one point. Face cards and tens are worth zero points. The second digit of the total is utilized as the hand's value if the sum of the hands is greater than 9. The hand's value, for instance, is 5 if the overall worth of the hand is 15.
