I think this could be true because there could be times a gambler could be very addicted to gambling and instead of gambling in the right way or direction he could actually end up in more loss obviously , like some gamblers are so desperate to actually make more money and they don't care on how many times they really want to invest

Desperation can be a reason for engaging in gambling. Sometimes, gambling can seem to be the only viable way one can obtain money that is needed instantly for a specific purpose,so it is not surprising to see them participating in the venture

People gamble excessively out of desperation and that is what must be addressed because excessive gambling could lead to colossal losses and sometimes you could lose valuables in the process.

You are absolutely correct. People sometimes gamble because they have explored all other options to no avail leaving gambling as the last resort. Most likely, this inordinate desire to get money will result in a loss because of the wrong approach towards gambling

Well if you say desperate lead to it you're not wrong because it can also be part of it but it's the level of poverty that lead to it to some people. For the fact that some people don't have good job and enough cash, they want to make more through gambling

This is a salient assertion. Gamblers can sometimes be forced to undertake this venture because of extenuating circumstances which are dire, more so in a financial sense. This applies to quite a large percentage, to be fair.
