Do you think it's better to quit after a certain number of losses instead of a certain amount of money lost?

I've realized is that sometimes it's best to quit while you are slightly behind instead of chasing your losses. Many players have a specific amount of money they are willing to lose in a session but I think counting the number of consecutive losses might be a better indicator of when luck is simply not on your side that day. What do you think? Is it better to set a threshold number of losses versus a money lost threshold as a cutoff to quit for the day? I'd love to hear others' experience and views on this.

I think it depends on the individual's personal preferences and risk appetite. Some people may prefer to quit after a certain number of losses to prevent themselves from getting emotionally drained and making more bad decisions.
