I think most times peer pressure could actually be a cause of addictive gambling , because there are some gamblers that might also want to be making the amount their friends are making from gambling ,then they would get so interested in investing more just to make that more gains and more profit for themselves

Do you think peer pressure causes addictive gambling ?

it does sometime though I still believe that some is caused by an individual. Taking myself as an example no body can pressure into a thing to the extent of being addicted if I don't give such permission. So it is about the individual involved.

Peer pressure can cause an addiction to gambling to an extent, especially if the person gambles just because their friends are doing it and winning. In desperation to also obtain similar amounts, they will gamble so many times and become addicted

I a
It depends on the person. It is very true that people tend to do what their friends are doing. It is possible but it will be very easy for anyone who is easily convinced or who is easily carried away by the things his friends does.
I agree with your sentiment. People can easily follow their friends into various activities such as gambling. They can then be so conversant with the venture that they could potentially become addicted

Although I continue to think that some of it is triggered by a person, it does happen occasionally. Using anyone as a reference, if I don't permit it, no one else can exert pressure on me to the point of addiction. Therefore, it is about the person in question.
You are absolutely right. The attitude and decisions made can differ from person to person, and some may be influenced by their peers and friends to join them in engaging in such an activity, whether online or oflline

Yea i really believe that peer pressure can be leading so many gamblers to become addictive. Peer might be causing or forcing you to become more addictive but you have to always be careful

It may be that at certain times the pressure can make you gambling more to match the results of others known or because you think you are having worse results than them, or also pressure because you are going through a bad financial moment, I think none of these options are good for a gambler and you have to try to free yourself from all pressure to be able to act intelligently.

Peer pressure can definitely lead to an addiction towards gambling because your friends could convince you to gamble frequently which could start stirring up that internal feeling to gamble at any time.

You are absolutely right. When a gambler looks towards their friends or others in general feeling elated after obtaining winnings, this can cause them to gamble even more, consequently leading to an addiction.

Even more so if your friends or acquaintances only show you the winning tickets and never the losers this is something very common among inveterate gamblers, they never show their losses only their moments of winning.

You are right. This is what induces some people to gamble, because their friends only flaunt the highs of this venture in their face. They will also gullibly believe that gambling is a profitbale activity at all times.

No, I don't think peer pressure causes gambling addiction. Though it may possibly influence slightly, but where the gambler is resolute and determine, peer pressure could not have a gain in his decision. Peers in the game would eventually withdrawn when their efforts are in futile

Peer pressure can truly cause some people to be involving in gambling addiction. That's why we need to make sure that we don't really follow most friends that are into shady things to ensure that we don't really fall into addiction.

Peer pressure usually cause gambling addiction , the person betting must understand that gambling without risk consideration should be fixed , a lot should be done and others when betting to earn vividly

Peer pressure can definitely affect gamblers' discipline, especially in social settings like casinos or online gambling communities. When people are surrounded by others who are betting big or taking risks, it can be tempting to follow suit and try to keep up. But, it's important to remember that everyone's betting style and goals are different, and it's okay to stick to your own strategy even if it means not fitting in with the crowd.
