For some individuals, gambling might become a temporary means of seeking quick financial relief or attempting to recover their losses. The desire to win money to cover expenses or to alleviate financial difficulties can lead them to engage in gambling activities. Additionally, the emotional stress caused by delayed payments could make some people more susceptible to impulsive decisions, including gambling

Though different people have given their excuses for engaging in gambling but using salary delay as the main reason for engaging in betting is just a flimsy excuse as this is not really a geniue excuse for gambling.
