In my experience tilt betting seems more frequent with gamblers who don't have much insight into their own psychology. When you first start gambling losses can feel extra painful, making impulse betting more tempting to chase your losses. Experienced gamblers who've gone through many wins and losses develop a mindset that helps shield them from emotional decisions at the table. However overconfidence can creep into any player's game, so even experts need discipline to avoid chasing losses during hits of bad luck. I'd love to hear what you think causes most tilt betting and how people can develop a healthier gambling mentality.
