My family always raised an eyebrow at my poker playing, but they know I’ll just do as I please. They raised me to be independent like that. Them approving or not, I was gonna play the cards regardless. This here life of poker and wanderin’ is the only life for me. I don’t need no family’s say so to live free and chase my dreams of going “all in” each hand. They know deep down I’m living the high life they never could. That’s alright though, I send ‘em money from time to time so they can’t complain too loud!
