Gambling can actually promote crimes indirectly, more so among addicts. Some of them commit atrocious acts such as armed robbery just to obtain enough funds to satisfy their craving for a wager

it does bring crime to s large extent. people don't mind stealing abd commiting other crimes just to raise money to gamble. it Is really prevalent here in my location and sometimes I wish the government can close down some betting houses as they harbor criminals in them.

You are right. I have seen so many cases where people commit crimes and after they get interrogated, we tend to realise that they are addicted gamblers that are looking for more money to gamble.
Gambling increases the crime rate of a country a lot.

Yeah this is the consequences of being addicted to gambling I have had a fair share from a neighbour child that had to steal my gen stands just to sell to get money to gamble. it can be a bad experience if you share the same space with a gambler.

That's bad and from they way you are typing it here, I am sure that the person is a very little child.
What was done to the boy? I am sure that he will receive the beating of his life on that day. That's not nice.

Not that young but a youth that just drop out of school just to be causing issues here and there.so gambling makes those that are jobless to start committing crime especially stealing so that they can have money to gamble away.

Some people kill themselves after losing a lot of money in gambling by drinking some medecines that could be the cause of the death of these people in short time frame by big quantities. This is one form of crime.

You are spot on with this assertion. Gambling can discourage an individual to the extent that they contemplate committing suicide and taking their lives due to the constant losses they experience in the casino

Crime is caused from the mindset and not really gambling. There are some that are not gamblers and yet they involve in gambling and we also have some people that are gamblers and do not involve in gambling.

Gambling does not cause crime directly but some bad apples feel that they need to finance their involvement in this venture by committing fraudulent and despicable acts against other members of the society

Gambling is not the major factor that causes crime. It is just that a lot of gamblers take it as an option when they have lost all their money in it.
This is very common among irresponsible gamblers.

A valid point has been made here. Most gamblers engage in these activities because it is seen as a last resort to get funds which can then finance their hobby of gambling. I think that distinction has to be made clear

I concur with your assertion. Gamblers who have been addicted tend to engage in unscrupulous activities to satisfy their desires when they are short of funds to wager on casino games. This often happens as well
