Government providing medicaid for citizen who can't afford hospital bills for any kind of illness they are facing. But a person who is on medicaid can also play lottery and win.

One of the questions I want to ask you guys over here is that Does gambling winnings affect Medicaid? I would be glad if there's anyone who can explain the this in the comment section.

Yes, gambling winnings can have an impact on your eligibility for Medicaid. The rules around this vary by state, but generally speaking, if you receive any type of lump sum payment, it is considered income for Medicaid purposes. This income may be counted towards your eligibility and could potentially affect your benefits.

Definitely a person who had nothing if they had significant earnings now then they should be actuallly ready to pay their medical Bill's if they can afford them now and such policies are mostly the standard for the industry.
