Dog dies of suffocation at Rhode Island casino due to owner regret

A casino patron was detained over the weekend after it was claimed that she left a puppy in a hot, parked car for hours at the Bally's Twin River Lincoln casino in Rhode Island.
According to a recent statement from Lincoln police, the dog had been left in the car for several hours with the windows locked and no access to water or air conditioning while outside temps were close to 80 degrees. In Rhode Island, the humidity that evening was similarly high. She was accused by police of keeping animals in motor vehicles and intentionally harming or killing them. She is in court right now.
