Dominican Republic bans William Hill, Bet365, Betsson, and 888Sport

The Dominican Republic has blacklisted over 40 major gambling operators in anticipation of market re-regulation, aligning with Resolution 136-2024.

Overseen by the DCJA under the Ministry of Finance, the new framework mandates licensing for online casinos and lotteries, barring unlicensed operators.

With Amaya PokerStars among the blacklisted, the move aims to establish a competitive, revenueboosting regulated market.

All of these are pretty much big sports book and gambling companies and they can definitely make sure that they are using proper licence to operate in the country if they are not having the proper support they can use different channels and can provide clarity to the country so that they can offer their services in the region indeed
