Dominican Republic issues new online gambling regulation

A new resolution that establishes new regulations for online gambling has been signed into law by the Dominican Republic.

As a result of the resolution, the Dominican Republic is now anticipated to introduce a more extensive regulatory framework.

As a result, it is anticipated that state revenue will increase due to increased competition in the regulated market from new competitors.

Each license that is granted will be valid for five years under the new law, with the first three years being non-transferable.

$346,000 is the license fee for online casinos and sports betting combined.
