Dominican Republic prepares to blacklist operators and re-regulate online gaming

The Dominican Republic is overhauling its gambling sector, announcing plans to blacklist unlicensed operators.

Minister Jose Vicente signed resolution 136-2024, introducing a licensing model overseen by the DCJA. Licenses for online gaming cost $350,000.

The initiative aims to rectify past mistakes, ensuring a regulated online gambling environment.
