Dominican Republic prepares to re-regulate iGaming

As it gets ready to re-regulate gaming, the Dominican Republic has placed dozens of operators on its blacklist. The Caribbean nation declared its intention to prohibit unlicensed businesses from conducting business there in accordance with this.

The recommendation to introduce licensed online gaming in the nation came after a protracted process that concluded with the decision to regulate gambling.

Gaming licenses from the Dominican Republic are transferable after the first three years of validity, lasting five years total. Operators will also need to use a.do domain to conduct local business.
