Downtown Winnipeg has produced a second $1 million lottery winner.

Two downtown Winnipeg grocery stores, just a block apart, have each sold $1million Lotto 6/49 gold ball draw tickets in the past four months.

Carla Baranski the latest winner from Manitoba in 2023, bought her ticket at Sun Food Mart on Donald Street.

Oleksii Shypylenko won $1 million from Sam Food Fare on Garry Street. Baranski was initially in disbelief about becoming a millionaire and plans to share her good fortune with family.
