DraftKings receives $10,000 fine for inaccurate financial reporting

For providing false sports betting data to the state, DraftKings was fined $100,000 by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

It was reported that the aforementioned mistakes forced regulators to update and rectify multiple months' worth of financial information.

"Overstating the amount of money wagered on multi-tiered bets, or parlays, and understating other categories of wagers" was one of the errors.

Well , if the act was deliberate then fines should be imposed on them , but that could be due to a technical error or an software glitch as well so we have to be very careful about this actually indeed
