DraftKings settles case against Fanatics over ex-employee

The two parties have reached a court settlement almost a year after the former worker abruptly quit his position at DraftKings to take over Fanatics' VIP program.

DraftKings voluntarily dropped its lawsuit against its former employee the day after Christmas. The former employee’s one-year non-compete agreement was about to expire when he was fired.

On February 1st, he abruptly left DraftKings and started working as the new Head of VIP for Fanatics.
