An officer in Chile made a fatal error by taking a leave of absence from the force. He became a criminal instead of just taking advantage of some downtime and escape the stresses of work. He allegedly committed two robberies while intoxicated before being transported to the same prison as many other criminals. The police had to make an internal arrest. It was a simple catch because the staff at the second casino he attempted to plunder quickly shut him inside until aid could arrive. Alejandro Damiano, now a former corporal, stormed the two establishments forcefully, causing property damage and intimidating staff members. His shenanigans were caught on camera, so there was no way to dispute the accusations.
