Dutch Gambling Authority confirms dates for implementation of Responsible Gambling policy

The majority of the Netherlands' new Responsible Gaming Policy will go into effect on June 3rd, with the remaining portion following in October 2024, according to confirmation from the gaming authority.

Due to the lengthy response period it extended for stakeholders in the gaming industry to comment on the proposed changes and the volume of responses the authority received, the authority announced earlier this month that its amended policy would be pushed back from May 2024 to June 3, 2024.
