Dutch Gambling Authority contacts casino operator still offering auto play features in spite of ban

The Dutch gambling authority has contacted an unidentified operator that offers autoplay.

Since the feature is currently prohibited by the Netherlands' gambling laws, the operator has been asked to remove the offering immediately.

After each wager is placed, customers can continue to wager automatically without having to manually place another wager. The Dutch gambling authority emphasized that it has prohibited it because it sees this as a possible sign of gambling harm.

After the Dutch gambling authority received a tip indicating that a player was able to automatically continue playing an online roulette table after winning and was not taken off the table, they contacted the operator in question.

The Dutch Gambling Authority's intervention with casino operators still offering banned autoplay features shows their dedication to protecting vulnerable players and enforcing responsible gambling regulations. This action underscores their commitment to maintaining a safe and fair gambling environment by ensuring operators comply with rules designed to minimize addiction risks.
