Dutch Gambling Authority organizes raid against illegal bingo event in Dordrecht

In Dordrecht, the Netherlands Gambling Commission shut down an unauthorized bingo establishment.

In the city of Dordrecht, the Dutch Gaming Authority raided an establishment that organized illegal bingo. The agency first deleted the organizing group when it was found to be using Facebook.

There were 100,000 members on the page—including minors—and eight administrators who would participate in the illicit bingo games. Bingo is acceptable in small groups, like among friends or in a nursing home, but it becomes problematic when it's available to a wider audience.
