Dutch Gambling Authority reprimand two casino operators for role model rule violations

Regarding the nation's role model ban, the Dutch Gambling Authority has criticized two operators for their shortcomings.

The regulator stated that players could win a t-shirt featuring a well-known football player from a top-tier Dutch club by using a single operator.

An online casino game was advertised by another provider using pictures of a well-known actor.

The regulator has reaffirmed its advice to operators about the role model-related portion of the advertising crackdown that was implemented in the Netherlands last July, even though the violations have now stopped.
