Dutch Gambling Authority set to implement nationwide inspection of slot machines

The Dutch Gaming Authority has announced plans to inspect slot machine arcades across the nation in an effort to promote responsible gambling practices. Start-date for this is mid-December. These inspections will primarily evaluate how well the duty of care is being implemented.

The goal of these inspections, according to the Dutch gambling regulator, is not to impose penalties but rather to promote a safer and more responsible gaming environment.

This is an interesting move by the Dutch Gambling Authority. Nationwide inspections of slot machine arcades will help ensure duty of care standards are being properly implemented across the country. Responsible gambling is so important, and regulators need to actively monitor venues to protect players.
