According to the Dutch Gambling Authority's annual Market Scan for 2023 and a monitoring report for the first half of 2024, the country's gambling market is expanding. Early in 2024, the number of online gambling accounts increased as well, averaging 1.07 million monthly. There were fewer active players, though, with only about 455,000 people gambling monthly.
