Dutch gambling regulator chairman wants more protection for land-based casino visitors

According to the chairman of the Dutch gambling regulator, land-based casinos need to implement more measures to prevent problem gambling. During the Casino Operations Summit in Amsterdam, he stated that although the regulator's inspections were effective in stopping unlicensed operations, regulated land-based venues still needed to take additional steps.

In his criticism of land-based operators, he pointed out that none of them enforced maximum time limits, even though some of them were open twenty-four hours a day. He also claimed that operators are not doing enough to keep an eye on players and stop them from playing too much.
